I've just finished a paper on Open-Source governance .

Career
Thursday, 19 April 2007
ImageOn May 16th, I will move to IBM Belgium. I will work as Software IT Architect for the Software Group.

After 15 years spent in technology end-user companies. I finally move to a technology provider, a big one!

As some people already asked me what will be my role there, I can say so far that this job is not about consultancy, it is about helping customers to find integrated solutions fulfilling their needs in a pre-sales context.

Text Extraction from SWF files Print E-mail

Experimental Work
Tuesday, 20 March 2007
The purpose of this experiment is to test the text extraction of a Flash binary "swf" file.
Flash files are currently not searchable by search engines like Acrobat PDF files are.
The trick is to extract the text and place it in the HTML file but invisible.

I use for this an Open-Source Joomla mambot created by Gero Zahn.
